It is your responsibility to ensure your award payment is processed by your school or you have submitted a check request before the deadline listed in your notification letter to avoid forfeiture. You can reference your notification letter for additional details.

Due to high volume of payment requests, please allow additional time for processing.

  1. Complete and submit the Information Update Form to update your information by May 1, 2024.
  2. Your submission will be reviewed and updated by Scholarship America.
  3. If further information is needed, Scholarship America will reach out to you.

  2. Complete the Check Request Change Form to update your information.
  3. Your request will be reviewed and processed upon Scholarship America receiving the refunded funds from your school.
  4. Upon receiving the funds and completed form, Scholarship America will update your file and issue a replacement check. Please allow 12-15 business days for processing and delivery.
    1. Check with your school to see if they will hold your award for your upcoming enrollment term.
    2. If your check has not been deposited by the school, and the school is unable to hold the funds:
      • Complete and submit the Check Request Change Form to verify your information.

PLEASE NOTE: Scholarship America can only hold your funds for the academic year in which you were awarded.
